Three years ago my wife died after dealing with cancer for six years. While she was in the hospital, I slept in her room for three weeks. Often I would play these flutes on the oncology floor, near the nurses' station, and in the main lobby of the hospital. A palliative care person noticed how these flutes brought a very calming atmosphere to the nurses as they changed shifts. As a result, I made a CD, "breath", to give to the nurses.
