Andrew earned his undergraduate degree in 2001 from the Univ. of VA. Here, he pioneered a track of international medical practice and policy education through the Echols Scholar Program. He completed medical school from the Univ. of MN in 2008 and an Orthopaedic Surgery residency from UCSF in 2013. Andrew is currently a staff orthopaedic surgeon at Regional Medical Center of San Jose and Assistant Professor of Surgery at UC Davis.

Garrett’s undergraduate degree was in Integrated Sciences with a minor in Psychology from the University of Denver. After traveling through Latin America and studying Spanish, Garrett completed a post-graduate certificate program in Prosthetics through a California State University specialty training program. Garrett continued his education with a specialty program in Orthotics from the University of Connecticut – Newington.

Jesse Williams completed his Ph.D. in materials science in 2008 from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and previously received his B.S.E from the University of Pittsburgh materials science and engineering department, graduating summa cum laude. Geoff is Chief Operating Officer and Board Advisor for LIM. He holds a law degree from the Univ. of San Francisco and accumulated business experience including over 15 years in Law Firm Risk Management, Conflicts Analysis and Business Intake. Geoff also has extensive experience in Quality Assurance and User Experience Testing, including testing of prototype, alpha and beta products for the major prosthetic component manufacturer Ossur, Inc.

David received his Ph.D. in endocrinology from UCSF and worked as a cell biologist in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry. He developed a facility with intellectual property and as a patent agent, he’s worked at law firms, in-house, and as an independent consultant, focusing in medical devices. David’s particular niche is with start up companies where he can take on IP at the ground level.

Juan Cespedes' passion for his work stems from a conviction that emotion is the primary element of design. For Juan, emotion “is how we connect with one another both physically and metaphysically.” Juan is inspired by creation that arises when beautiful form and distinguished materials intersect. Prior to joining LIM Innovations, Juan led the product development for projects ranging from protective football equipment to furniture.
