Light Blue Optics has developed Kaptivo - a cloud-connected hardware/software solution which attaches to any standard dry-erase board, enabling real-time content sharing/streaming as you write, storage, and meeting recall and search, with no change to the workflow. It's the only solution to whiteboard sharing out there which doesn't require replacement boards or electronic pens, and at $299 MSRP costs a fraction of other whiteboard sharing products. Kaptivo is based on proprietary patent pending image analysis technology we've developed, which removes reflections, shadows, ambient lighting variations, distortions, people in front of the board, and old ink, similar to a true digital writing surface, but without needing any hardware replacement and at a very low cost.

Our business model is to build partnerships with leading distributors in the office products/collaboration space, who we will sell Kaptivo units to (fulfilled by our CM). In addition we will sell (very high gross margin) cloud services (monthly subscription model) directly to end users to provide meeting storage and Internet conferencing integration services (via Pexip/Bluejeans).
