We are developing of an app-based fitness platform, which will use the concept of game mechanics to reduce the number of “one-and-done” users. Using a simple fitness-tracking bracelet, one’s daily fitness performance will be turned into a game, by incorporating weekly team competition, points, and badges. By pairing users up in teams, the proven concept of team competition to engage and increase the lifetime value of the typical fitness consumer.
