Mark holds over 100 patents and applications. He was the cofounder of Kinetic Surgical, which was acquired by Cardinal Health/Carefusion in 2008. Mark also cofounded TIVA Medical which sold and licensed two patented intravenous drug delivery technologies to Cardinal Health. Mark was hired as the 5th employee at River Medical in 1993. River acquired IVAC Medical in 1995, and the combined entity was sold to IMED for $420M in 1996.
