Company Summary

For the 1.3 million lower limb amputees in the U.S., the heat and sweat that is generated at the site where their limb meets their prosthesis can be intense and intolerable. Serious and costly medical problems - ulcers, blisters, and infection - result. Our novel product resolves this by thermoelectrically cooling and removing heat from the prosthesis. Our US market potential is 560,000 units/yr ($603 M). Our commercial launch will be mid-2016.
