Beach has over 30 years of experience in software development and emerging technologies going back to GIS development for the Army Corps of Engineers in 1982. His career includes VP of Strategic Mapping, Inc where he led the development of the first business-oriented Geographic Information System. In 1992, he was one of the founders of QMSoft where he served as VP of Development creating software that is still in use today at large P&C insurance

Brady is an accomplished entrepreneur, as well as being a terrific educator and Professor Emeritus of Geography at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Brady has co-founded a number of successful startups, including Matrix Research and Proxix Solutions. He has more than forty years of theoretical and applied research in the areas of retail, insurance and tax solutions, and the design and implementation of large databases.
