    Mel Malele is a high school teacher at Kamehameha Schools in Keaau. Mel has been developing STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art and Math) curriculum for Kamehameha Schools Summer, Fall and Spring STEAM Academies. Recent lessons have been focussed on developing technology that promotes ocean resource management as well as Hawaii food sovereignty and food independence. Mel received a BA in architecture from Berkeley and continues to design.
