CTOAfter moving to Canada at the age of 17, started his engineering studies at the University of Toronto and began his first startup company within 2 years. Leading a team of Ph.D. holders in scientific simulations and software developers, Farhad developed a platform to help students at different levels of education learn scientific phenomena through simulations. His platform was chosen by the university for use in mechanical engineering courses.

Hanif MontarzeriPresidentA serial entrepreneur with seven years of executive positions in developing tech companies. He has a Ph.D. in Computational Physics from the University of Toronto, where he is also an adjunct member of the faculty of Engineering. Prior to his work in Lantern, he co-founded two other successful companies, NuPhysics and Enersion Incorporation. He has managed more than $9 million in engineering projects in his professional work.

Simrat GillCMOAfter graduating from Western University, Simrat went on to pursue a career in the field of Cybersecurity before pursuing a successful career launching business and brand development innovations through various organizations. Her unique technical background, as well as her distinguished business experience, allows her to bring an objective and perspective to each situation as she makes sure everything runs smoothly at Lantern.

Pierino ZindelSoftware Developer & InstructorThe newest member of Lantern’s operational team, joining shortly after graduating from the University of Toronto in programs of physics and applied math. His love of data and interest in teaching is what brought him to Lantern where he acts as an in-house instructor, helping students build a strong understanding of fundamentals concepts and the intuition necessary for pursuing a career in data science and analytics.
