    Following graduation from university of Puget Sound in 2007, Michael spent 6 months with the Bremerton, Washington-based start-up, LiftPort, where he experienced firsthand what it means to be an entrepreneur. His passion for entrepreneurial endeavors is rivaled only by his love for foreign languages, which served as the foundation for LanguageTwin. After two years at the helm, Michael is poised to take LanguageTwin to the next level.

    Aaron Veden is a software engineer at Eduworks who has developed multiple games and end user applications in HTML5 and for mobile devices. Aaron was the lead developer on the Advanced Distributed Learning initiative’s RUSSEL project and has built players for rendering IMI level 3 and 4 training for customers in the publishing and pharmaceutical industries. Aaron holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Oregon State University.

    Laurie is a seasoned educator who began her career teaching Spanish at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California in 1986. In 1992, she accepted a full-time teaching and supervising position with the Spanish department at the University of Oregon, which she still holds today. Laurie plays an instrumental role in marketing LanguageTwin, translating content, and drawing on her academic background to improve platform functionality.
