Chris Mueller, Ph.D., President and CTO, is the founder of Lab7. Prior to Lab7, Dr. Mueller managed the RNA sequencing bioinformatics group at Life Technologies in Austin. At Life Technologies, Dr. Mueller led the development of in-house sequencing analysis tools, data management systems, and compute clusters. He has a B.S. from the University of Notre Dame and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Bioinformatics from Indiana University.

Sean Gunther has over 20 years experience in the Investment Management industry. Mr. Gunther is an Equity Quantitative Analyst and Market Data Program Manager for a global money management firm with over $600 Billion in assets under management and a financial tools and market data annual budget of over $50 Million. He applies an entrepreneurial approach to incubating critical technology at early stages to maximize early adoption benefits.

Varshal Davé (VP Sales & Marketing) 15 years of strategic life science marketing and sales experience. Held senior positions at Molecular Devices, ProteinSimple, and Singulex. More than a decade in the genomics industry following training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. M.S. in Biology from the University of Texas at Arlington, A.B. in Chemistry from Duke University.
