CanScan is a breathalyser. It uses a novel sensor technology (patent pending) that detects volatile markers of different cancers in exhaled breath, that is present in very low concentration. Exhaled breath of a person is analysed by a sensor array that is sensitive and specific to the markers. The data from the sensor is processed and the results are displayed in terms of risk factor of having cancer.
