David Steinberg is a partner at PureTech Ventures and has been on the founding teams of KNODE Inc., Enlight Biosciences, and three other companies. Prior to PureTech, he was a strategy consultant at Boston Consulting Group and a researcher at P&G Pharmaceuticals. Steinberg earned a B.S. in biology with distinction at Cornell University and his M.B.A. in strategy and finance with high honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

David Tharp has more than 10 years of international business development and strategy consulting experience in the life sciences industry. Before joining KNODE, David led US commercial assessments at EMD Serono as well as the UK Government’s biotechnology & pharmaceuticals business development group in the US. He earned a BSc. in Science/Biology from UMass/Amherst and his M.B.A. from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, England.

Steve BaronVP of Products
Steve Baron gained 25 years of executive management and software engineering experience before helping to found KNODE in 2011. This is his fifth startup as an entrepreneur, having previously held senior technical leadership and new software product development roles, including at Desktone and Altaworks (acquired by OPNET). He holds an MBA and BS degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from the State University of New York at Albany.

Charbel Abdul-MassihVP of Engineering
Charbel Abdul-Massih is an experienced entrepreneur with a background in software engineering/architecture, including web development across a variety of technology understand and develop all the different layers of a web application, from the database to the web layer. Previously, he was COO at venture-backed Take the Interview, and UI Architect/Lead at Decktone & Upromise. He earned a BS in Computer Systems Engineering from Boston University.
