  • CEO and President

    Mr. Drew has been responsible for transitioning the company’s operations from startup to commercial scale. As CEO he has overseen the focusing of the company’s sales efforts on medical device companies and the subsequent stabilization and growth of revenue. Prior to KindHeart, Mr. Drew was Director of Investment Management at Lookout Capital, an early-stage private equity firm. He received his MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC.

  • Richard Feins, MD
    Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer

    Dr. Feins is a cardiothoracic surgeon with over 30 years of experience and a longstanding interest in simulation-based surgical training. He was Chairman of the American Board of Thoracic Surgery from 2007 to 2009. He was the Principal Investigator on a $1.05 million grant from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality which clearly demonstrated the ability of simulation-based training to improve skills and safety in cardiac surgery.

  • VP of Tissue Development

    Dr. Alexander completed his General Surgical Residency and Cardiac Surgery training at Duke University. He has practiced at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York Hospital, West Virginia University Medical Center, Evanston Hospital (Vice Chair of Surgery), and Hackensack University Hospital. He has worked with surgical device startup companies as an inventor and consultant, holds 7 patents and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University.

  • Board Chairman and Advisor

    Dr. Miller has worked in the technology industry for more than forty years. A serial entrepreneur with a deep technical background in multiple domains, he is currently Founder and President of Stellar Energy Foundation. Dr. Miller has consulted extensively to both private equity and venture capital communities and has served on numerous boards of directors of public and private companies in addition to having served on investor advisory boards.
