Company Summary

TripGrow uses the proven Christmas Club business model, but with a travel twist. Our target market are 18 to 55 year olds who are planning to travel within 10 to 24 months. Traditional savings methods don't work for them, as money saved for travel is spent on other things. TripGrow provides a flexible method of saving where people can take advantage of partners offers & specials while saving, which helps make their holiday money go even further.

Team

  • Gaye Miller
    Founder

As someone who loves to travel, it was obvious to me that there was not a savings product available in the market that provided a savings element with the flexibility to change your mind should life get in the way. My experience of running a bookkeeping business plus being a travel writer, & travel author means I've got a great understanding of issues that people face in both areas. It is this extensive knowledge I bring to TripGrow.

  • Simon Mills
    Advisory Board Member

Simon has extensive knowledge in the finance area especially around the areas of lending money. In the UK he was the General Manager of a finance company that lent money to assist with business growth and assets purchases. It is these skill sets that Simon brings to TripGrow

  • Simon Young
    Advisory Board Member

Simon is the owner of syENGAGE, conference speaker and co-author of Social Media MBA. He is a current speaker on social media at The University of Auckland. Simon became involved in TripGrow as a result of Gaye Miller (founder) being a finalist at the 2011 Unlimited Investment Challenge and he has been assisting her with developing social media strategies for the business.

  • Steve Bayliss
    (2011 only) Advisory Board Member

Steve Bayliss is the ex-GM of Marketing for Air New Zealand. Between Air New Zealand and his current role he joined the Advisory Board of Kids Friendly Travel, the fore runner to TripGrow. He provided marketing strategies that will be implemented into TripGrow's marketing plan.
