Kalulu aims to become one of the largest socially conscious fashion firms worldwide that provides unique and high quality clothing for children using original fabrics from east Africa. Our clothes are designed and manufactured in New York. Kalulu promotes sustainable development by sourcing and producing ethically. We have partnered with a Brooklyn based non profit that builds schools in Zambian villages.

    Milbert Kiggundu Bentham is the CEO and chairman of the board and has over 10 years of experience in business including finance, marketing. She has an MBA from Georgetown University and a BSc in applied economics from Cornell University. Ms. Bentham was a director in the structured finance team at Standard and Poor’s and also spent four years in the capital markets and research team at Bear Stearns.

    Timothy Bentham is the CFO and has spent over 18 years in accounting and control, and strategy at Credit Suisse. He is currently a COO in Prime Services at Credit Suisse. Mr. Bentham will be responsible for overseeing the finances of the firm including sourcing, operational expenses, and risk management, Mr. Bentham has a BSc in economics from the University of Exeter and is an ACA.
