KPC is a social enterprise that capitalizes on cassava farmers and the large cassava industry in Nigeria by recycling cassava peels into a marketable low-cost product for livestock feed called “CASAFLAKES” sold at $9 per 25kg bag, which provides a measureable economic benefit to both cassava farmers and goat-keepers and provides an environmental benefit by preventing the burning of cassava peels which is currently considered waste by farmers.
