She began her carrer in the computer industry while serving in the United States Army in 1980. She has extensive education in the computer field as well as a Masters degree in Management.

Mrs. Evans has 20+ years of experience in education, technology, administration and marketing. As a technology administrator she has been responsible for the network infrastructure as well as coordinator of effort with vendors, professional and technical staff and implementation of instructional tech for a 5A district. Her experience in marketing includes supply and coordination for large oil companies including Pennzoil and Citgo Petroleum.
