After that, he was the principal software engineer for MapQuest, during which time he lost his sister to substance abuse. This event inspired him to create the Julota platform connecting the community around at-risk individuals.

Dr. Pionkowski is a 30-year ER physician with a master's in computer science who patented the Touchphrase interface integral to the Julota platform. He observed firsthand the same people returning week after week and month after month to his emergency department without resolution of their issues, so he developed the foundation for Julota.

Joshua is a 20-year serial entrepreneur and B2B sales executive with experience at HP/Compaq where he consistently exceeded $100M in annual sales. As CEO of the Colorado Sleep Company, Joshua took the company national, increased revenues 11X, and grew locations 67%.

Laura is a 20-year consultant with adult and juvenile justice agencies, where she specialized in data collection, data analysis, policy, and technology implementation. Ten years were focused on database application development to support the collaborative work between justice professionals and community providers.
