MediCool is developing a novel painless therapy for dangerous cardiac arrhythmias. We are initially focused on Post-operative A-Fib (POAF) a common, expensive and potentially morbid complication following cardiac surgery. MediCool’s approach, which has been successfully demonstrated in pre-clinical and First In Human trials, uses a cooling implant to painlessly terminate episodes of POAF while the patient is recovering from cardiac surgery.
