Crossing Guard is an innovative technology being developed with the University of Connecticut to remotely disable the operations of firearms in designated locations such as schools and movie theaters while still ensuring these firearms can be used for all lawful purposes.Crossing Guard uses nanotechnology and transmitted energy waves to disrupt the transfer of kinetic energy within ammunition to prevent the ammunition from firing.
