JASWIG, LLC is a design engineering start-up creating digital files to be manufactured anywhere by leveraging automation technologies. JASWIG's first product is a wooden, height-adjustable standing desk intuitive for children. We push the limits to be the leanest & cleanest manufacturing company by continually optimizing our design to cut down pollution and researching innovative, environmentally-responsible materials. We change the status quo.

Team

  • Co-Founder and Researcher

    Daphne has a MS in Biotechnology and is a certified Biomimicry Specialist (Biomimicry 3.8). Daphne is currently pursuing a PhD in Integrated Biosciences as part of the Biomimicry Fellowship Program, sponsored by Parker Hannifin. She is co-founder of Hedgemon, LLC, a startup that is developing a hedgehog-inspired absorbing material that can be incorporated into helmets or as packaging for fragile goods.

    Mathias has a Masters in Civil Engineering, and a Master Engineering and Management. In 2012 Mathias founded a company called Bubble Post, which is currently valued at $10 million and still growing. Mathias sold his shares to move to Ohio where he worked for a startup called Versa Trench. During that period he created a standing desk for Daphne and himself.

  • Co-founder and Maker

    Tyler is pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Engineering (exp. May 2016). He studied Architecture for two years and has life experience in design, woodworking, digital fabrication, and CNC machining.
    Tyler will be working closely with Mathias on the development of new products.
