Company Summary
Jan Medical was founded by Paul Lovoi after the death of his wife Jan caused by a hemorrhagic stroke. Jan Medical is leveraging the US Navy’s expertise in decoding threats to submarines using data from cranial accelerometry. Two pivotal trials are underway: vasospasm detection (UCSF), ischemic stroke (Johns Hopkins), 510(k) and launch in 2013 with less than $10M ($5M to date). We are raising $3.5M with a lead and strategic committed.
