Early detection of skin cancers, especially melanoma, is vital to a patient's survival. Spot It Early will develop a smartphone application (app) which will allow users to photograph moles over time, and compare those images to identify those that may be evolving into cancerous lesions. The app will be free for users, but customized versions of the app will be sold to individual dermatology practices.
