Farming of animals is a major source of pollution. So are chemicals used for leather production. Google data shows “vegan shoes” and “vegan boots” in an upward trend since 2012. Quality vegan shoes and handbags are very hard to find. There has been a 50% increase in vegetarians in the last four years and a doubling of vegans.
