Team

  • Jan is an internationally experienced business professional and serial entrepreneur.

    He was involved in founding Brasil´s leading online optician eOtica (Oct. 2011), the social commerce company Curtilo (Dec. 2011) and Juv & You (Feb. 2012). Therafter Jan build the team and initiated Brasil’s first SMB Online Marketing company OndaLocal (May 2012) and kick-started and acts as CEO for the online tire- and car parts distributor Itaro.

  • Ricky was one of the co-founders of an ecommerce in the furniture space in Brazil. Previous to that, he worked in Citigroup in Brazil and NY covering Latin American Financial Institutions. He is a CFA charterholder and holds a BA from the University of Virginia.

  • Samir Aziz
    CMO

    Samir is a Eurasian American triple passport holder educated in the US, Europe and Asia. Prior to joining Itaro Samir was a product development and marketing leader at Procter & Gamble. He combines his personal passion for design with strong quantitiative and business fundamentals having graduated Magna cum Laude, Tau Beta Pi with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University and with an MBA from INSEAD.

  • Aubert Maurice Issacher
    CFO

    Aubert was educated in the US, Europe and Asia, and worked in the financial services industry in various roles since 2001 including investment banking and wealth management. Outside of finance, Aubert was involved in founding KweekWeek, the UK's first location based event and activity discovery platform and has made several other angel investments in Europe and Brazil.
