Planet Sherston is a portal to consumer-quality materials designed for and by teachers and includes a large back-catalogue of CD-Rom titles. This is powered by a unique Adaptive Learning engine which allows the system to chose appropriate activities for the students without intervention from the teacher. Additionally, the e-assessment area includes a range of products which can dramatically increase the reliability of marking for a lower cost.

Matt WingfieldManaging Director of Assessment Division
Matt has a formal educational background: after seven years as a primary school teacher and ICT coordinator, he became Director of Education for the Kingswood ICT Study Centre Group. Since joining Sherston he has worked closely with Karim Derrick to shape the assessment division and has been responsible for securing a growing number of contracts amongst exam bodies and Ministries of Education at home and abroad.

Karim is a former secondary school maths department head and founder of one of the first online education communities. He then developed the innovation educational resources and assessment technologies that have produced Planet Sherston and ACJ.

Jim has held senior positions in schools, universities, and business, working in the fields of formative assessment, curriculum design, and information technology. He then became CEO of TAG Learning Ltd which was regarded as the UKs most innovative technology enterprise, acquired by Sherston's former parent company in 2008.

Kerry BaldwinIQ Capital Partners
IQ Capital Partners are based in Cambridge and invest in companies exploiting smart 'IQ' intensive technologies. In 2011 they invested £1.5m into Sherston, making them the largest shareholder.
