Ionic Flame Retardant Inc. is developing new generation flame retardants based on ionic liquids. IFRs are Halogen free, show negligible volatility, and are thermally stable. They afford superior flame retarding performances,minimum effects on mechanical properties, thermal properties (Tg & HDT) and transparency, colorability of plastics treated. In addition, their flame retardants can be lower cost than any traditional flame retardants.
