Company Summary
For our first product, Opal can be used to measure adherence to wearing appropriate PPE when required in the construction, manufacturing, industrial, or distribution. As an activity tracker, it can measure attendance for a site,& it also understands the “activity” level of the individual worker. Companies have virtual site manager insights into the number of people on site and their general activity level at any given time.

Prior to joining ITD Paul was the managing partner at Cerium Capital, an investment banking and management-consulting firm. Prior to Cerium, Paul was a Managing Partner at Tobin Solitario Investment Banking Group and an SVP at First Citizens Bank. Paul was also in First Union Capital Market’s Healthcare Finance Group.

Tim RisserCo-Founder, OperationsTim has extensive experience in both large organizations and small start-up ventures and in both strategic and operating goals. Prior to ITD, Tim was a consultant with McKinsey where he lead teams to define growth strategies and operational initiatives. Tim's operating experience includes 15 years as a principal in a manufacturing company where it grew from $7M to $20M. Tim has a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from Vanderbilt.

Director of Product DevelopmentKatie has experience synthesizing materials in search of superconductors and semiconductors with magnetic and electronic properties. While earning a Ph.D. at Princeton, she focused on solid state synthesis, materials chemistry, and magnetism. Her research includes the improvement of ITD's technology through thermo and piezoelectric optimization and resistivity measurements in addition to improving synthesis techniques for laboratory samples.
