We are developing Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools using a new algorithmic approach to achieve revolutionary performance improvements. Today's EDA tools, e.g., for design rule checking, metal fill, and parasitic extraction, use algorithms devised 20+ years ago. These tools are unable to keep up with the amazing increases in circuit complexity, thus, leading to unpredictable project schedules and project cost overruns.
