Integene is developing a platform gene-therapy technology capable of treating a broad base of vascular diseases, including peripheral arterial disease (PAD), critical limb ischemia (CLI), coronary artery disease (CAD) and others. An experienced management team in place, whose business strategy is to focus first on end-stage CLI, in which the company is seeking Orphan Drug designation. A Phase I/II human clinical study is planned for 2016.
