Kudumbashree is a Government supported project in the state of Kerala, India with 3.7 million members and aimed at empowering women leveraging micro credit, entrepreneurship and collaborative work among the more than 1000 self help groups across the Kerala state. Kudumbashree initiative has succeeded in bringing prosperity to thousands of families in the state and in wiping out poverty in Kerala to less than a percentage.
