    Founder/CEO

    Jamie is the Founder/CEO of Initial State, which he founded in 2012 after spinning out his product diagnostics inventions from Lexmark International. He has 12 years of system engineering experience and has led numerous engineering teams focused on integrated circuit design/test, embedded systems, and software development. Jamie has 12 issued patents and 30 filed patents. He holds a MS and BS in electrical engineering from the Univ. of Kentucky.

  • David Sulpy
    Co-Founder/Director of SW Development

    David is an accomplished software engineer with five years of industry experience in web/mobile application and RESTful API development. Prior to Initial State, David was a senior software engineer for Streamweaver, a Nashville-based mobile video startup, and a founder of Acklen Avenue, a custom SW dev company. David has a track record of building extensible, maintainable, scalable SW architectures and the DevOps strategies to support them.
