Company Summary

Incitor's patented technology generates drop-in fuel (Alestron) from biomass at about $2 a gallon. Alestron can be produced from any cellulosic or starch biomass including solid waste, agricultural waste, wood chips and algae. Alestron is more energy dense than ethanol and is non-corrosive, offering advantages as an additive or blend to gasoline or diesel. Hundreds of additional valuable chemicals are produced alongside fuel.

    Dr. Elling has founded and led a series of technology based start-ups, consistently building and exiting at a profit. Additionally he has experience at Los Alamos National Laboratory as both employee Technical Staff Member and as a Visiting Entrepreneur. Dr. Elling is also a partner in Phase One Ventures

    Dr. Elling received his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin and received his MBA the University of New Mexico.

    Troy Lapsys is a co-founder of Incitor. He has over 15 years of experience creating successful start-up high-technology businesses in emergent industries requiring merging diverse disciplines into an overall executable vision. All of his experience relates to rapid milestone based development through to revenue. Lapsys holds a B.A. from Stanford University.

    Jacob Berman has more than 30 years of experience in commodity trading and directing operations of global companies including extensive industry contacts within the commodity ethanol business. Mr. Berman received his Masters in Business Administration in International Management, with honors, from Thunderbird Global School of Management, and his B.S. in Business Administration from California State University, L.A.
