Joan Lau is Managing Partner of Militia Hill Ventures and COO of Immunome Inc. She has served as president and CEO with several venture-backed biotechnology companies including Azelon and Locus Pharmaceuticals. Prior to Locus, Dr. Lau worked at Merck & Co, in leadership roles within R&D drug development and business development.

Jane is Managing Partner of Militia Hill Ventures and co-founder and former CEO of NuPathe, a public company focused on diseases of the central nervous system. Jane is also founder and former EVP of Auxilium, another public pharmaceutical company. Prior to that, Jane was VP & General Counsel of IBAH, a public multinational CRO. Before joining IBAH, Jane practiced law at Montgomery, McCracken, Walker & Rhoads in Philadelphia.

Dr. Dessain is an Associate Professor at the Lankenau Institute for Medical Research and Co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Immunome. He received his MD and PhD from Yale and post-graduate training at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Dana Farber Cancer Care.
