    Mike Canon, JD graduated in 1968 with a B.A. degree from Texas Tech University and in 1972 received an M.A. from Texas Tech in Economics. He received his J.D. degree from the University of Texas School of Law in 1974 and is licensed to practice in Texas and New Mexico. Mike is a shareholder in the Midland Law Firm of Canon & Sumner, P.C. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of First Bancshares of Texas and is the former Mayor of Midland, TX.

    Honor Canon, M.D. is a Pediatrician and Assistant Professor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She completed her medical degree and her residency training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. She works part time seeing patients and teaching residents and medical students in the General Pediatric Clinic and Urology Clinics at Arkansas Children's Hospital.

Lance is originally from Alberta, Canada, where he played hockey competitively and played on the Canadian National Team prior to being drafted by the St. Louis Blues of the NHL. Lance completed his general surgery internship and residency at Tulane Hospital, in New Orleans (post-Katrina) followed by a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery in Orlando, FL.

Amy also worked in the pharmaceutical industry with Pfizer, Inc. for 7 years, before becoming a homemaker with 3 children.​
