He worked for Dresser-Masoneilan for 15 years as a controls engineering primarily in the Power industry for both Fossil and Nuclear power plants. Doug started IC Systems in Southern California in 1988.

ManfredZapka, PE, PhD, is a Hawaii resident for over 25 years. Graduated from the University of Hawaii, Manfred specializes in optimizing building energy performance and occupant comfort. He teaches sustainable building design and optimization at the University of Hawaii. Manfred is a consulting engineer PE and an expert in sustainable infrastructure development including energy, water and transportation systems.

Ken Nghiem is a PE Chemical Engineer with 20+ years of experiences in Demand Response, Energy Efficiency Measures, Industrial Automation, Data Analysis, Process Design & Control, Process Simulation and Fire Protection Engineering. Ken is a Technical Coordinator for (3) utility companies and provides DR systems integration for Building Management Systems.
