Company Summary

HydrOne is an easy to use, compact, and fully automated hydroponic system. Unlike traditional hydroponic systems, HydrOne uses a grow wheel to increase plant growth rate while optimizing space usage. Furthermore HydrOne will grow any type of vegetable or plant from start to finish without any user adjustments. HydrOne will let anyone grow anything by the simple click of a button.

  • Founder

    Became increasingly aware of the difficulty of accessing quality affordable food in developing countries, specifically in Nigeria where he lived prior to moving to NYC. Anmar is accountable for establishing the track and strategy for the business. He is also responsible for the design and development of HydrOne’s core technology. Anmar spent four years researching, designing, and building an automated hydroponic system.

  • Founding Partner

    Established entrepreneur in the Middle Eastern Gulf. After establishing a chain of Dialysis clinics while attending University at Tokyo’s Sophia University, Mariam sold a majority of her business to a major American Dialysis company, Mariam decided to return to school at NYU Stern in order to explore other innovative and entrepreneurial opportunities. There, she met Anmar and the two instantly bonded over a shared passion for social innovation.

  • Founding Partner

    Has extensive corporate finance experience in several industries, including healthcare, biotechnology, and microelectronics. She worked in corporate banking, corporate M&A and as a startup consultant specializing in financial strategy and equity rising. She has worked in France, The United Kingdom and the United States. Charlotte decided to pursue an MBA at NYU Stern where she met Anmar and Mariam.
