Julie gained national recognition as an artist soon after receiving an MFA in 1989. After running a successful sculpture studio for two decades, she turned her attention to sustainability, became a Master Gardener and obtained an MBA in Sustainable Business in 2010. Philip was pulled from college by a range of clients who recognized his talents. Self taught, he ran an architectural arts business for over a decade before teaming with Mihalisin in 1995. Simultaneously, he became employed and then took over the largest helicopter corporation in the PNW, working in design, marketing and construction oversight before making his way to upper management. He sold the company in 2008 and taught himself to invest.

John is a graduate of MIT and the Harvard Business School. He founded and ran many companies during his forty year business career, including several that went public or were acquired. Dr. Castle, Sc.D. now teaches entrepreneurship and advises companies on how to turn their ideas and technologies into profitable businesses using innovative methods that help businesses focus on the elements of the venture that are essential for success.
