    Co-Founder and Advisor

    Professor Emeritus of Philosophy, Stanford University. In 1983, led a group that founded Stanford’s Center for Study of Language and Information (CSLI). Raised $30 million for research and building construction. CSLI led to Stanford’s Symbolic Systems Program with majors consisting of Computer Science, Linguistics, Philosophy, and Psychology. Graduates of these programs have become famous tech leaders in Silicon Valley and elsewhere.
