HotelYou is an intelligent hotel search platform. Our clients and active players will be both end-customers and hotels. HotelYou is a smart hotel search system introducing for the first time semantic and 'machine learning' technology (Processing Natural Speech Language and enable intelligence ability to the system for learning by its own). Our value proposition is for both sides of the hotel supply and demand market: hotels and en-costumers.
HotelYou has born to make easy, efficient and effective the process of requesting hotels online. HotelYou is a two sided platform in which hotels and users will meet. . Hotels will have access for the very first time to their “long tail” market (which can represent up to 25% of their sales) . Clients wont need to fill in complex fields, just with a simple interface with a main text box in which they will express their requests with their words. System will process the semantic with “Natural Speech Language” technology, and then will apply intelligence to learn.
We have launched our first pilot, which confirms the viability of the project, testing the tool from a technical point of view while and providing the key indicators of its commercial performance potential. We have a dedicated team of 5 people. The basic prototype is a real landing/app web site (http://www.hotelyou.es) that has been placed online in July 2015, to gather first indicators of interest and to start creating awareness.
We have get some family&friends investment funds, create our own and specific semantic travel ontology: generating knowledge in the semantic research field using semantic models for a real business idea; make some online marketing last but not least, is also important to mention that this project has gained the institutional support of the ‘Science Madrid Park’ an exclusive incubator Foundation just for innovators start-ups and SEMs, which is currently hosting us. Also we have gathered a collaboration agreement with “Hotel Technology Institute”, the main Spanish entity for innovation in Hospitality and get a key collaboration agreement with SECONDS GROUP (Semantic Conceptual Development Systems).
