HERO is a nonprofit organization that provides incentives, mentoring and workshops for the Hispanic high school students in the Las Vegas, Nevada area, expanding nation wide. The organization will partner with the Clark County School District, local businesses and the Hispanic community. HERO’s goal is to provide the Hispanic youth with a supportive environment that promotes self respect, dedication and allows them to see a prosperous future.

  • Juanry Alicea
    Founder and President

    Mr. Alicea acquired a degree in Accounting and Business Law from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas UNLV. He is a US Army veteran and has worked 15 years in the Security industry in luxury hospitality and Executive Protection. While working security in the Los Angeles School District area he was able to counsel and guide many young Hispanics and he observed that proper guidance and incentives can help change our youth for the better.

  • Flor M. Espino-Jimenez
    Secretary/ Recruitment and Training Director

    Mrs. Espino received degrees in International Studies Management and Spanish from Pepperdine University and a degree in Hospitality from UNLV. She has 5 years of experience as Human Resources secretary at the Four Seasons Hotel. She is in direct interaction with the public and Hispanic employees and knows that the services provided by HERO are essential to the success of our nation and the Hispanic community.
