WHY: Reading is a fundamental skill that the vast majority of Indian children struggle with.
WHAT: HSS will work with schools to foster a culture and habit of reading from a young age, so that children are able to improve reading standards.
HOW: We will get books into schools and work closely with them to ensure these books are being effectively used.
WHO: To start with, low-cost private schools in urban south India, classes K-5.
