Gastroplex, our food R&D company, has been in business since 1979. We've developed new products and technologies for clients, like McDonald's International, Burger King, Pillsbury, Heinz, and others.

We also develop new products, like the InstaShake™ instant drinks, which we want to spin out into independent companies, in order to attract the best team, business partners, and capital to fully exploit their potential.

    June began her career in retail sales at the age of thirteen, when her father built the Safari Shop in Ocean City, MD for the purpose of training her and her sister in business.

    Having earned a MA in English from the University of Pittsburgh, she became a teacher. Next she worked in Public Relations and Marketing for AT&T from 1987 until 2001.

    She became a partner in Hashema International Partners, in charge of marketing and sales in 2002.

    Throughout his career Andy has applied his education in economics – BA from Columbia University and engineering from the Fashion Institute of Technology in the following areas:

    1. Industrial engineering
    2. Cost engineering
    3. Production management

    He became a partner in HIP Gastroplex in 2011, where he is responsible for the production of the Caffex™and Sugarlesse™ product lines.
