Team

  • Co-Founder / Chief Executive

Loves finding thicker walls to run through. He started his career in the Israeli special forces and before HILOS was working as VP of Product at Handshake, building software platforms for Fortune50 brands. He built the product vertical from scratch while at Handshake and launched the company’s first product line within 14 months to a celebrated reception at the World Economic Forum’s Davos meeting.

  • Co-Founder / Creative Director

A brilliant fashion designer and brand leader with a human-centered design thesis and strong background in material innovation. Prior to HILOS Gaia designed for some of the best-known fashion retail brands in the industry, including BCBGMAXAZRIA, Hybrid Apparel, and St. John Knits.

  • Director of Tech

Started in digital manufacturing while he ran his own product development firm in China. While there he brought over 200 products to market and scaled manufacturing sites across three continents – the China-based site was so highly sought after for its performance that it was the target of a hostile takeover. He’s been one of the first to scale commercial end-use production with 3D printers around consumer products.

  • Director of Product

A highly sought-after footwear designer and developer with 20+ years in the industry, working closely with Larry Tarica at Frye’s during their golden years, with Meagan Key at Dolce Vita when they went viral, and with Nina at Nina’s and Kenneth Cole at his namesake brand

  • Director of Manufacturing Operations

A gas pedal that specializes in scaling production around novel manufacturing processes. Shwood, the wooden eyeglass startup, brought him in because they had a 25% defect rate and 30 day lead times – he brought it down to under 5% with 2 hour lead times while they scaled from $400k to $3.5M. He’s done similar alchemy at Viktos (from $0 to $2.4M in 18 months) and Icon (from $900k to $31M globally).
