His recent focus has been on transformation projects focused on the use of new technologies such as Cloud Computing or Big Data. Prior to Hexanika, Yogesh was a Senior Vice President at Citibank and also worked with Ernst & Young (EY) in New York in the Financial Services Strategy and Risk Advisory practices.

As CTO at Hexanika, Makarand has in-depth expertise in software product envisioning, planning, development and deployment. He personally worked in the engineering teams of MS Excel, MS Office, Windows and Visual Studio. His experience as a Software Architect and Engineer spans over 30 years, and has served in different strategic roles with several reputed organizations such as Microsoft, Persistent Systems, and Amcomp.
