Dr. Polite is the world's leading expert in chromatography. Polite was a lead scientist for Amoco Corporation in the development of a ground breaking cellulosic conversion process. Dr. Polite founded Helios Scientific in July 2010 to commercialize this technology. Dr. Polite also founded Axion Analytical Laboratories, providing scientific services to every major government lab, chemical and petroleum company in the U.S.

Mr. Rideout has over 40 yrs experience in theoretic finance and business development. He began his career arbitraging water borne products on the Pacific Rim and managed an international crude oil brokerage until 1992, when he began building risk management operations for commodity producers. He was the COO of a successful hedge fund before moving into the biofuels industry in 2006. Mr. Rideout is a founding member of Helios Scientific.
