Company Summary

We have discovered a more economical, accurate and complete way of measuring exhaust plumes remotely. The estimated total amount spent on emissions testing per year in this country is approximately 2.3 billion dollars. Vehicle owners are required to wait in line to have their vehicle checked every year. Remote sensing eliminates this wait. Currently, we have been granted our first patent with two others pending. We also have working prototypes

    J. Stewart Hager received his PhD in Molecular Physics from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Dr. Hager has many achievements in high-resolution infrared spectroscopy, molecular vibrational-rotational theory, atmospheric remote sensing. In 2009, he decided to start his own company, Hager Atmospheric & Environmental Technologies (HEAT) using some of the same principles of the ASCENDS satellite mission and applying it to vehicle exhaust.
