One of our founders is Lee Hambley, the maintainer of Capistrano, one of the world's most popular tools for deployment with more than 10 million downloads.
The Capistrano community asked consistently for a web-based version of Capistrano where they could work jointly on projects, coordinating deployments and other housekeeping tasks. So some people of the Capistrano team gathered and built the web based version.

The funny thing was: we discovered by walking a little extra mile we could broaden our project to any script-based tool, any stack, any technology, any workflow. Based on this infrastructure we could develop some really unique features like virtual machines with docker with real, unrestricted root access , compatibility with whichever Git host you like and more. We discovered we had built probably the world’s most flexible CI platform. And that is how Harrow was born.

We recently launched our beta version and among the first 250 registered users we have the devops responsibles from huge companies like New Relic, Skype, AliBaba and many other great companies. And are getting the feedback that in the market there is nothing comparable.
