Melinda received a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and started her career as a software developer. After graduation she enrolled for a MSc. degree in biomedical engineering, where she learnt the basics of medicine. She started working on the Hand-in-Scan project as a student, conducting research in image processing. Now she spend a semester in the US participating an Entrepreneurship Development Program offered by HAESF (partnered with CIEE).

His main field of research is control/teleoperation of surgical robots, image-guided therapy and supportive medical technologies. His Ph.D. thesis was based on a neurosurgical robot. He is an adjunct professor at the Óbuda University, and a research area manager at the Austrian Center of Medical Innovation and Technology (ACMIT). He is the author of more than 70 peer reviewed papers. Active member of various professional organizations.

Csaba gained 20+ years experience in sales and marketing during his different management positions held over the years. He gained international experience in the med-tech business as the Business development & Sales director at Weyergans High Care AG in Germany. Seeking new challenges, Csaba joined the Hand-in-Scan team in 2014, bringing his complementary skills to build the company’s worldwide sales and distribution network.

Péter Róna received his IT M.Sc. degree at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). Since 2006 he has been actively involved in business operations: he spent a one-year professional HAESF scholarship in the US at the CALA operational headquarters of Avaya Inc., actively took part in founding the Hungarian subsidiary of the French Alma CG, and started its Hungarian innovation consulting department which he ran until 2012.
